Lone Tree Nature Preserve

The 2021 addition of Lone Tree Nature Preserve adjacent to  the Green Trees Ranch  adds to the preservation of this oak woodland and pine ecosystem. The Preserve portion is under a conservation easement, and provides miles of trails to explore along the grassy ridgetop as well as down in the cool pine and yew forests. This Preserve is designed to protect the watershed of the local creeks and rivers under the guidance of the Pacific Forest Land Trust, and is left as natural as possible. 

The Preserve includes a small 1-bedroom cabin with an endless ridgetop view, a small year-round pond, and miles of solitude and exploration.
